INFLUENCE CHURCH INTERNSHIP 2022-2023
Internships Summer-Fall 2022
Our Internship Program gives leaders the opportunity to actively explore and receive training in vocational ministry. Our hope is to prepare and release emerging leaders to be messengers of reconciliation in a variety of contexts. Interns work 40 hours a week for 3-10 months, receiving practical ministry experience, church culture & theological training throughout their service to prepare and equip them for ministry. Starting this year, our intern class will be larger than in years past, and the program will include a greater emphasis on vocational equipping, personal and spiritual formation.
Through our relationship with Influence Leadership College, interns can receive seminary course credit by participating in the seminary track of our ten-month training and degree program.
Questions & Answers
WHAT IS THE DURATION OF THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM?
Internships for 2020 begin on June 10, 2022, and end on March 31, 2023.
ARE INTERNSHIPS AT INFLUENCE CHURCH PAID?
Internships at Influence Church are paid. Interns will receive $1,000-$1600 per month. Senior Interns (returning interns whose department is eligible) may receive the higher pay.
WHAT ARE THE EXPECTED WORK HOURS OF AN INTERN?
Interns are expected to work 10 hours a week in the department for which they are interning, 25 hours for kids food program, plus an additional 5 hours each week for the Training Program and development. The total time commitment is 40 hours weekly. The hiring manager will be responsible for setting the work schedule.
WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SEMINARY CREDIT HOURS?
All interns have the opportunity to choose the seminary track of the Training Program. The seminary track is not required and does not count toward the 40 weekly hours. The Training Program seminary track currently provides interns the ability to earn some core hours of seminary credit to transfer directly to Influence Leadership College upon completion.
CAN THE SEMINARY CREDITS BE TRANSFERRED?
The seminary hours cannot be transferred outside of Influence Leadership College unless you’re transferring to Valor Christians College and Valor transfers to Liberty University.
CAN I WORK AS AN INTERN AT Influence IF I HAVE A FULL-TIME JOB?
Keeping a full-time job during an internship at Influence may not be feasible. The majority of hours necessary for each position require interns to work in our offices throughout the week to gain experience in vocational ministry. The feasibility of it would depend on the flexibility of the intern’s other job.
DOES Influence PROVIDE MEDICAL BENEFITS FOR INTERNS?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer medical benefits for interns.
WILL Influence COVER MY MOVING EXPENSES?
If you choose to relocate to the STL area for an internship, you will be responsible for any moving expenses.

No, Influence does not assist international candidates in obtaining work visas.

Yes. You will need to fill out a separate application for each internship you would like to apply for.
